A magic wand is an instrument for directing energy.

Although you can use your hand or even your intention to do so, there are times when you’d like to use a wand for the purpose of channelling a specific type of energy, and in a specific way.

You can make a magic wand out of different materials, but the most common ones for making ceremonial wands are wood and crystals. In part 1 of my Bushcraft adventure, you’ve seen my journey of making my first wand out of pine tree (If you missed that episode, you can watch it here). Eventually, I sanded the wand and painted it with black olives to give it a soft purple hue and instill it with the energy of the olive tree, too.

In part 2 of my adventure, you’ll join me on a comical journey of “using” my wand to “save” my teammates using a series of spells, curses, and even the Harry Potter ‘Accio’ summoning charm! 🤣

When it comes to using a magic wand in your spiritual practice, here are a few suggestions:

• Create a circle of protection around your sacred space
• Use it to activate your crystal grids
• Connect with the oversoul (the collective consciousness) of the tree the wand is made of
• Send healing energy to others or yourself
• Draw energetic symbols of healing and protection around your house
