Think back on your past romantic partners, relationships, and sexual encounters. Briefly bring the most significant ones to your mind, noticing how each mental recall makes you feel.  

If you’re like most people, you’d have at least felt some tension thinking about them, if not stronger emotions such as anger, resentment, guilt, hurt, or even fear.  

 When relationships end, especially if they ended on bad terms, there’s a great deal of releasing that needs to happen for us to regain our balance and move on. Generally, this involves a combination of cognitive, emotional, and physical releasing.  

 There’s also another kind of releasing that most people don’t even think about doing, and that’s an energetic release.  

We have energetic cords connecting us to everyone and everything we have a relationship with. In romantic and other intimate relationships, we have multiple such cords that need special treatment.  

Unless we do the work of identifying and releasing these energetic attachments, we’re not able to fully move on from these relationships, no matter the amount of cognitive, emotional, and physical healing we do.
