When I was 24 years old, I had just graduated from one of the best business schools in the UK with a master’s degree in business management.

I primarily took that degree hoping it would give me the knowledge I needed to manage my finances and finally feel safe around money.

But that’s not really what happened.

What it mostly taught me was a bunch of corporate jargon I could use to get a job that would keep me stuck living someone else’s dream.

And deep down, I knew that wasn’t the life I wanted.

I craved financial freedom. I wanted to understand money, not just perform intelligence around it. I wanted to feel empowered in my choices. I wanted to build a life where my work, my purpose, my pleasure, and my bank account weren’t constantly fighting each other.

That’s when I discovered a book about money mindset, money management, and investing.

It changed everything for me.

It helped me start healing my limiting beliefs about money. It taught me how to manage my finances, understand what was actually happening with my money, plan for my future, and start investing in a way that felt empowering rather than intimidating.

Now, ten years later, I can honestly say that the plan worked.

And because of that, I’ve become such a huge advocate for helping spiritual, creative, and queer people become more conscious and mindful about their finances, not just practically, but spiritually and energetically too.

Because money isn’t just numbers on a spreadsheet.

Money touches our self-worth.

It touches our safety.

It touches our freedom.

It touches our choices, our relationships, our pleasure, our ability to rest, and our capacity to create the life we actually want.

I’m joined by Nick Wolny for a powerful conversation about money wounds, investing, financial confidence, and building wealth in a way that supports who we truly are.

While this episode is on my gay sex and relationships podcast, the principles Nick shares are true and valid for everyone.

In this conversation, we explore how queer people often grow up outside traditional life scripts, and how that can actually become one of our greatest financial advantages. We talk about moving from “doing what we love” to “doing who we are,” and how that shift can completely transform the way we approach career, success, lifestyle design, and financial freedom.

We also dive into the emotional side of money, including the shame, scarcity, and limiting beliefs many queer men carry around finances, self-worth, and being “behind” in life.

Nick breaks down investing and financial literacy in simple, accessible language, including the key numbers we actually need to track and the first practical steps we can take to feel more confident with money.

This episode is about so much more than wealth.

It’s about creating a life where your money supports your fullest, most authentic queer self.

And as you listen, I’d love you to reflect on this:

What would change in your life if money stopped being a source of shame, fear, or avoidance, and became a tool for freedom, pleasure, and authentic self-expression?
