“Am I Intuitive?”

For as long as I can remember, intuition and psychic abilities have been thought of and talked about as “gifts” possessed by a small number of people. 

Those who had the gift were revered as wise and all-knowing, and even feared by those who didn’t consider themselves to be gifted. 

I remember my mum coming home from her friend after having her coffee read (in Cyprus, instead of tea leaves people read coffee grounds), exclaiming to my aunt about how accurate the reader was, and wondering how the reader had done it. 

For years I’d pedestalled psychics and their “gifts”, also thinking that they possessed something that I didn’t, until I learned otherwise…

You see, although I’m now a professional psychic healer myself I’ve never thought of myself as gifted, because I really wasn’t… Intuition didn’t come easily to me, and it took years of work and training to be where I am today.
