While being on a spiritual journey can bring immense joy and freedom, it can also create sadness and repression, especially when spiritual ideas feel rigid and limiting.

I’ve always been passionate about busting outdated spiritual stereotypes and expectations, and I’ve aimed to teach spirituality in a fun, entertaining, and modern way. I’m into fashion, acting, singing, watching the Real Housewives, and very much involved with pop culture, but I’m also deeply dedicated to my spiritual path. I believe the two sides of me not only blend well but also complement each other.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the dominant opinion of the spiritual community at large. Judging by the comments I received on my Ancient Greece Revisited interview last month, there are some pretty rigid stereotypes about how a spiritual person should express themselves.

Some of the common expectations of spiritual people are the following:

  • “Spiritual people should not be too fashionable. That’s giving power to the ego!”
  • “Spiritual people shouldn’t flaunt or talk about their sexuality.”
  • “The older you are, the wiser you are.”

…and many more!

In my new, two-part podcast episode series, I discuss (and totally obliterate!) 9 spiritual stereotypes and expectations, freeing you to be your multi-dimensional self.

Specifically, in this episode you’ll learn:

  • Why spiritual expectations block our spiritual connection.
  • Why age does not equal wisdom, revealing where true wisdom comes from.
  • How embracing your sexual nature can unlock your creativity and enhance your spiritual journey.
  • How to use fashion mindfully as a tool for expressing your authenticity and staying true to your spiritual path.
