I’m lucky to have been born on an island that’s deeply connected to goddess energy and the divine feminine. 

Even before Cyprus was associated with Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of love and beauty, the ancient cypriots honoured The Great Mother Goddess – a female goddess that symbolised fertility. 

In fact, when you look back at the history of most ancient cultures there almost always is a single female goddess that eventually expanded to the diverse gods and goddesses we’re all familiar with today. 

Why was feminine energy so important in ancient times? And, is it still important now?
